Make a routine
Group notes into monthly checks, seasonal care and professional servicing. Follow each appliance’s instructions rather than a generic timetable. Keep manuals, service dates and useful contact details together.
Know when to stop
Leaks near electrics, a gas smell, structural movement or suspect hazardous materials are not beginner DIY tasks. Move away from danger and contact the appropriate emergency service or qualified professional.
